Just as I remember you

Just as I remember you

Bleached family photographs, collected silver frames, wooden side table, ink, varnish
Project spanning 2011 - 2019

Installation dimensions Approx 95 x 60 x 44 cm

This work attempts to question our personal memories. How we construct who we are based on stories and images we are surround with growing up. The act of removing those who we are no longer with us allows us the space to remember them for who they were for us. They are present in their absence, their life lingering in the coloured halo left on their silhouettes.
